# Windsurf and Cline

Connect FeelsRight to Windsurf or Cline using the mcp-remote helper.

> **Should work, not yet tested.** These editors run local MCP servers most easily, so we use the `mcp-remote` helper to reach a remote server. We have not tested this ourselves yet.

You need Node.js installed. `mcp-remote` handles the sign in for you and opens your browser the first time.

## Windsurf

Open the Windsurf MCP settings (or edit `~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json`) and add:

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "feelsright": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "mcp-remote", "https://mcp.feelsright.ai/mcp"]
    }
  }
}
```

## Cline

In Cline open **MCP Servers** and then **Configure MCP Servers**, and add the same block:

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "feelsright": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "mcp-remote", "https://mcp.feelsright.ai/mcp"]
    }
  }
}
```

Restart the editor or refresh the server list. A browser window opens. Sign in to FeelsRight and approve access.

If something does not work, see [Troubleshooting](/docs/ai-assistants/troubleshooting).
